Magnets need a 3mm thick ferrous steel surface to achieve maximum holding force, keeping that in mind we also offer our 100mm x 100mm x 3mm thick powercoat steel plate which incorporated a thick non slip foam base to help keep secure in place (also includes mounting hole for permanent fixing)
