Safety Factor
Tested to a break-away force of 3.5 times rated capacity, a measured 3500.00 kg on this model. This exceeds the 3:1 minimum design factor specified for permanent lifting magnets in both AS 4991-2004 (Australia) and EN 13155 (Europe).
Supplied With Every Unit
Operating manual including manufacturer details, an individual pull test report showing the measured break-away figure, and a unique Aussie Magnets serial number affixed to the lifter and recorded on your tax invoice for traceability. Please note the manufacturer's details appear in the manual and are not marked on the body of the lifter, and the lifter does not carry an AS 4991-2004 marking.

Safe Use
The magnet will not engage until it is making full contact with the steel surface. Never lift steel with a person standing on it, and never stand under the lifter or its load.
Inspection In Service
Once in service, inspection and maintenance of lifting equipment is the responsibility of the person conducting the business or undertaking, and must be carried out by a competent person with records kept. Many principal contractors also require periodic proof testing through a NATA accredited testing or inspection body as part of their own safety management plan, so check your site requirements before putting the unit into service.
