Description
This unique “stacked block magnet” is constructed from three 20 mm ferrite segments bonded end-to-end to form a 60 mm long bar. Each segment is magnetised through its length before assembly, creating a configuration where the magnetic poles at the ends dominate, while the centre joint behaves like a natural short circuit for the internal flux.
The result is a magnet with strong magnetic activity at the ends and minimal external field around the middle 20 mm section. This design was a common manufacturing method in earlier production runs and is valued today for its end-focused performance
