Description

Type: Ferrite Disc Magnet
Diameter: 3mm
Height: 2mm
Grade: C8 / Y30H-1
Pull Strength: Approx. 30g
Maximum Operating Temperature: 250°C

This 3mm x 2mm Ferrite Disc Magnet is manufactured from C8 / Y30H-1 ceramic ferrite, providing reliable magnetic performance with excellent corrosion resistance and outstanding temperature stability.

Ferrite magnets are naturally resistant to rust and corrosion, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications without requiring protective coatings. They are an economical choice for many holding, positioning, educational, display, craft, and industrial applications where extremely high magnetic strength is not required.

With an approximate pull strength of 30 grams, this compact ferrite magnet is ideal for lightweight magnetic holding tasks, prototypes, hobby projects, sensors, packaging, signage, and general-purpose magnetic assemblies.

Unlike neodymium magnets, ferrite magnets maintain their magnetic properties at much higher operating temperatures, with a recommended maximum operating temperature of 250°C, making them suitable for applications exposed to elevated heat.

Features

  • Manufactured from C8 / Y30H-1 ferrite ceramic
  • Excellent corrosion and rust resistance
  • No protective coating required
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
  • High temperature resistance up to 250°C
  • Cost-effective permanent magnet solution
  • Ideal for general industrial, educational, hobby and DIY applications

Please Note: Pull strength figures are approximate and are measured under ideal conditions against a thick, clean mild steel surface with direct contact. Actual holding force will vary depending on the mounting surface, air gap, paint, coatings, and application.
