Description

Plastic Coated Neodymium Block Magnet

External Dimensions: 50.8mm (Length) x 25.4mm (Width) x 8mm (Thickness)
Countersunk Hole: 8.4mm (D1)
Through Hole: 4.8mm (D2)
Magnet Dimensions: [TBC]

The dimensions of the product are measured in metric units, with an approximate "tolerance" (manufacturing margin of error) of +/- 0.05mm

Block with twin holes countersunk on one face, showing the 4.8mm through hole and 8.4mm countersink head

These neodymium magnets feature a plastic coating which provides excellent resistance to the elements and is suitable for outdoor or marine use.

Countersunk Holes: two 4.8mm through holes, each with an 8.4mm countersink head on one face, to be used with flat head screws or bolts.

Pull Strength: Approx TBC
The approximate force (in metric units) required to remove a magnet from industry-standard 3mm thick mild steel. These "strengths" are measured using mathematical calculations, and should be used as a general guide only.

Direction of Magnetism: "Axially"
Magnetised (top to bottom) thru 8mm thickness. The axis through which a product is magnetised. Products may be magnetised axially, diametrically or otherwise (e.g. multipole). See more about directions of magnetism at our Help Centre.

Direction of magnetism, north and south poles through the thickness

Grade: N42
In permanent magnets, the grade refers to the materials used in the production process. Material "grades" range from low end (weaker) to high end (stronger). See more about magnet grades at our Help Centre.
