Description

Dimensions: Ø 6mm (Diameter)  x  4mm (Thickness) The dimensions of the product are measured in metric units, with an approximate "tolerance" (manufacturing margin of error) of +/- 0.05mm    

Pull Strength: 1.10kg The approximate force (in metric units) required to remove a magnet from industry-standard 3mm thick mild steel. These "strengths" are measured using mathematical calculations, and should be used as a general guide only.    

Direction of Magnetism: "Axially" magnetised (top to bottom) thru 4mm thickness. The axis through which a product is magnetised.     

Gauss: 5280 Gauss A measurement of surface "magnetic induction" (B), equal to one ten-thousandth of a Tesla. Gauss indicates the number of lines of magnetic flux per square centimetre, under the CGS metric system.
